After some time off for the holidays, a new session has been added to the docket. Nintendo Switch Online will be impacted just slightly a few days from now.

In a recent interview, Nintendo producer Akira Otani spoke more about the origins of Mario & Luigi: Brothership.

Otani, who has been working the series since Partners in Time on Nintendo DS, said that it’s been a challenge to match the franchise’s artwork with the in-game graphics. This is what partially promoted the decision to feature full 3D visuals on Mario & Luigi: Brothership and release it for Nintendo Switch.

Zelda Echoes Wisdom Link to the Past sequel

A report that went under the radar seems to indicate that The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom was originally planned to be a sequel to A Link to the Past.

Prior to the launch of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, some fans have pointed out that the game’s map was very reminiscent of the map from A Link to the Past. It turns out there’s apparently a reason for that. Before Nintendo and Grezzo settled on things like the Echoes and having Zelda take the starring role, the game was imagined as a sequel to the SNES classic. That changed once the project entered full development.

Warner Bros. Nintendo Switch eShop sale Batman Arkham

A number of publisher sales have been running on the Nintendo eShop for the holidays, and there’s one we’d mention from Warner Bros. as it features the lowest prices ever for the Batman: Arkham games, LEGO Worlds, and more. While the trilogy’s price was previously slashed, this is actually the first time that you’ll find discounts for the individual Arkham titles.

Akrew is planning its upcoming project Galactic Getaway for Switch, the developer has announced. A release window has not been confirmed currently.

Galactic Getaway is a space adventure game with multiplayer support. Aside from exploration, players will be able to get involved with mini-games, character customization, and more.
