Developer Nihon Falcom have announced that Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, which was originally revealed earlier this year during a Nintendo Direct presentation as The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st, will be launching worldwide on Nintendo Switch in Fall 2025. The game is a remake of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, and will feature fully voice-acted cutscenes in English and Japanese, as well as various changes and improvements to the gameplay.

Hamster have revealed Warrior Blade as its latest Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch. It’ll be available everywhere tomorrow, December 19.

Warrior Blade, an action game, was originally released by Taito in 1992. Set in the remote country of Depon, the bandit Rastan and his friends embark on an adventure, and players can choose from three different characters to play.

Today, Hamster confirmed Viper Phase 1 as its latest Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch. It’ll be available everywhere tomorrow, December 12.

The vertical scrolling shooter was originally released by Seibu in 1995. This release of the title marks the first time it has been released on a home game console, and will feature both the old version and the remastered, arranged version.

5 features for next Super Mario game

Nintendo has confirmed that we’ll be hearing more about the Nintendo Switch successor within the fiscal year, but said nothing about the launch titles for their upcoming new system. It is safe to say that we’ll be getting a new 3D Mario game at some point, although whether it’ll be a Super Mario Odyssey 2 or something entirely new is anyone’s guess. However, we have some ideas about potential new features that could be in the game – which you can check out below.

August 9: City Connection have announced that they will be bringing shoot’em up Under Defeat to Nintendo Switch on December 5 in Japan. The title, an HD remaster of the PS3/Xbox 360 original, was previously revealed earlier this year. A Western release has currently not been announced.

Hamster has announced Fantastic Nights Dreams Cotton as its next Arcade Archives game for Nintendo Switch. It will be available worldwide on November 27, 2024.

A new update has been released for Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake, bringing the game up to Version 1.0.4. on Nintendo Switch. As well as the usual bug fixes, the update comes with a large number of additional feature expansions and adjustments, including new Advanced and Custom difficulty levels, features to skip animations and duels/debates, and smaller settings to enhance the gameplay experience.

A Nintendo Switch eShop listing for DLC for Sonic x Shadow Generations has appeared. The Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie Pack has a scheduled release date of December 12, and will be set in Shibuya. Keanu Reeves, who is set to voice Shadow in the upcoming movie, will feature in the DLC.
